The ZF are working with grassroots activists to expose the true nature of the forthcoming ‘Palestine Expo’ scheduled for this weekend, the 6th and 7th July 2019 at Olympia in London.
We have printed 1000 copies of a booklet which details the extent of demonisation and hatred against Israel that is present across the event, from its speakers to the nature of its interactive experiences.
The booklet can be viewed online here, and the hard copies will be available on the day to hand out to Expo goers as well as passers-by.
Hosted by the Friends of Al Aqsa organisation, the ‘Palestine Expo’ is billed as a “fun, family day out providing visitors with a unique immersive experience. Palestine Expo is a chance to bring people together to celebrate Palestine.“
Surely that can’t be a bad thing, right?
WRONG.
In reality, aside from the great art, music and cuisine on offer, the Expo’s organisers provide a platform to anti-Israel, Antisemitic and Holocaust-denying speakers whose sole aim is to demonise and delegitimise Israel whilst supporting and whitewashing the crimes of the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza.
Sadly for Palestinians and Israelis, messages of peace and coexistence will NOT be promoted at this Expo.
If you are available to gather outside the Expo at Olympia, West London, on one or both days next weekend, 6th and 7th July 2019, please contact Yochy Davis via Facebook for details.
For details of the Expo itself, please see here: https://www.palestineexpo.com
Whilst it is unlikely that the event will be cancelled this year, UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) have used Germany’s recent passing of Resolution 19/10191 of the Bundestag, which “condemns the arguments and methods of the BDS movement as Anti-Semitic to encourage the German owners of Olympia, the venue for this year’s ‘Palestine Expo’, to press the Friends of Al Aqsa group to curb the BDS content.
