Yesterday evening the ZF were delighted to partner with East Anglian Friends of Israel in Norwich, hosting award-winning investigative journalist and author, Edwin Black.
Edwin specialises in the historical interplay between economics and politics in the Middle East. Edwin has authored several bestselling books, including ‘Financing the Flames’ which exposed how US aid to the Palestinians is used to foment a culture of confrontation, agitation, destabilisation and terrorism against Israel.
His latest investigation examines who exactly is behind the funding of the illegal Palestinian settlements in“Area C” of Judea and Samaria aka the West Bank. ‘Area C’ comprises some 60 percent of Judea and Samaria and whilst the so-called West Bank is no stranger to the media, its presence in the news has been regarding the issue of the illegal Palestinian settlements sprouting across the region, shredding the last vestige of the Oslo Accords which, for a generation, propelled the “two-state solution.”
